People often ask me why I prefer the #MBTA to the #MTA. Here’s why: Just the #NYCSubway alone is a challenge to access for wheelchair users, and that’s not counting the #MetroNR or the #LIRR. Only about 25 percent of the Subway is #accessible to people with mobility challenges because about 75 percent of it can only be accessed by stairs.
