4:49 AM: Due to icy road conditions, all Metro Transit, Metro Mobility, and Transit Link bus service has been suspended. Light rail and Northstar are currently operating. Bus service will resume when it is safe to do so.

Due to ongoing cold weather, Metro Transit has activated their cold weather protocol. Riders will be allowed to ride regardless of available fare if they need a place to stay warm. However, they are not keeping transit stations open, instead redirecting people to county warming facilities. #msptransit #metrotransitmn

Metro Transit just pushed out a notification saying they’ll be closing the headhouse at Central Station starting 12/27 as they make “physical and operational public safety improvements.” #metrotransitmn

With ongoing Metro Transit service cuts, Metro Mobility will also cut service beginning Nov. 28.

But they’re not cutting because of a driver shortage, they’re doing so because it needs to match 3/4mi of where Metro Transit provides all-day service, which the agency has clawed back over the years.
