I don't think I have ever been in such awe of a place then Córdoba when we had the great fortune of travelling Spain four years ago... and then I fell in love with Málaga a few days after.

Córdoba. Ja, de stad van het heiligdom . Iedere toerist gaat erheen. Logisch, maar Córdoba heeft meer. Zoals , het Alcázar en Romeinse tempel. De stad is makkelijk te verkennen, mede dankzij het goede openbaar vervoer.

Today's is from inside the Mezquita-Catedral de Córdoba and is of Al-Hakam II's stunning mihrab.
An absolutely stunning building, and a bit bonkers to have a cathedral built in the centre of a mosque that was originally built on the site of a church but that means we get to appreciate the skills of the Byzantine and local craftsmen, and especially the mosaic makers.

Hey everyone! This is such an impressive place, but so frustrating to photograph.
I was forbidden from taking my tripod inside so just wasn’t able to get the shots I wanted.
I’d love to return and be able to take some photographs with my iPhone. Yes, iPhone photography has come on so much, especially in low light scenarios, that I’m positive I could get some decent images.
