The website (https://www.fallonpowwow.com/) explains this event as "The Moving Forward Together Powwow is an event that supports Native American community members on wholistic scale, including their mental, physical, emotional, and cultural needs and well-being. Other traditional values, like generosity and belonging, will be enveloped in all of the event activities. The value of respect and honoring the wisdom and history of elders will be demonstrated and taught to youth. Storytelling honors traditional wisdom and teachings, and will also give attendants the opportunity to speak their truth, honor their identity, and learn values and skills that contribute to self-efficacy and mental wellness.
