not the most productive year as far as clearing out my PTW, but still an interesting selection

Basically the only thing that I could say is similar between the two is that both contain violence and sexual content. Even there though, the differences are conspicuous: #MiamiGuns has endless amounts of gratuitous fanservice and comedic violence, while #RecordOfGrancrestWar contains relatively little fanservice despite having a story-relevant sex scene, and also frequently has bloody violence, even beheadings.

#MiamiGuns on the other hand is...basically a shitpost. Imagine a story set in "Miami", except it's less like real life Miami ("Miami mountain pass" lmao) and more like someone learned about Miami from watching old TV shows, and then used the result to riff on a bunch of movies/TV shows/anime/etc.. There's a fake previous-season recap, a random western episode, and Definitely Not Gendo Ikari, for example.
