Instagram - The Enquirer on Instagram: "A new vending machine coming to Miami University's campus next school year won't sell Skittles, Cheetos or Gatorade. Instead, it will dispense emergency contraception pills. A handful of universities across the country have hopped on this trend in the last decade, and even more so in the last year, including the University of Florida, George Washington University, Cornell University and Boston University. Miami's machine, to be installed in the fall, will be the first of its kind on an Ohio college campus. "Emergency contraception can be difficult to purchase. It can be expensive – $40 to $50 at the pharmacy – and individuals might need it at odd hours when stores are closed," Steve Large, Miami's assistant vice president for student health and wellness, wrote in a statement to The Enquirer. "Even though it’s an 'over-the-counter' medication, it might not physically be on the shelf. Shoppers may need to ask a store clerk for assistance, which can be intimidating." Here's my : I'm a professor of physical organic chemistry at . For those of you outside the US, this is the one in Ohio.

Research in my group focuses primarily on and non-equilibrium chemical systems.

Since this is shameless self promotion, I also have a very cute dog. This is her many years ago when she was a puppy.
