Two years ago I bought my ✨dream car✨

I had to widen my search to 250mi, but I found the exact spec I was looking for… 5.5hr away. The parental units agreed to take a road trip with me to get the car. I think they were happy to see it to the end since I talked about Miatas so often.

I plan to own Blue Lightning long-term and I’ll surely drive it as much — I’m talking hundreds of thousands of miles. I know I’ll love every one of them.

@jadevol I just pulled ours out of the garage last week and we've had a few good days, but it's cold and wet today. The weekend is looking better though and we have a #Miata club brunch on Saturday, so things are looking up!

It really only needs a new battery cover and a bent rear control arm replaced, those are now ordered

I really want to get a cold air intake for it just because intake sounds are fun and it would open up so much room for activities in the engine bay, if I was made of money there's also battery relocation kit which would put the battery where the windshield washer reservoir currently lives too #miatadon #miata
