Michelle Tandler, a SF tech exec, has stated publicly on Twitter that “Our society seems to have become seriously
complacent.” She then said “100 years ago in SF people were publicly hung for their crimes. Often by vigilante groups that wanted to send a message. The hangings worked.”

Michelle is ignoring the fact that many of these lunching were against black people, and that public lynchings are akin to murder.
