One person I know was moments from encountering the shooter on the street.

One person I know was home, off-campus, but their staff were in Berkey Hall.

They had to endure those hours of hell, not knowing where he was, if there were more gunmen, as initially thought, if they were next.

It’s like PTSD. Anyone can have PTSD for so many reasons, but there are some who believe only front line combat veterans “qualify,” and that causes pain.
