I just read that "Slow Horses," a series on Apple+ is shooting seasons 3 & 4 back to back. This makes me happy. If you like wise-ass dialogue, action, suspense, mystery and humor, then you might like this series about the special department of the British Security Service. Led by a washed-up(?) cold warrior, the role of this special unit is to employ people it would be too much bother to fire. I loved the first season so much that I went out and read all the books by Mick Herron. It stars Gary Oldman as the cold warrior and Kristen Scott Thomas as the head of MI5. I'm so glad they're going to keep this show going. #SlowHorses #MickHerron

@ichbindabomb Have to add the most brilliant anglophile show at the moment -- Slow Horses. Crackling writing, great cast (Gary Oldman & Kirstin Scott Thomas) and breakout performance (Jack Lowden). If Dickens was still around, he could have created these characters. (Also, yeah, I agree The Bodyguard is good.)
