Joe Strummer & The Mescaleros - Live at Acton Town Hall
Joe's last performance in England, last appearance with Mick Jones (who joins for a few tracks), and six weeks later he'd be dead of a heart attack. He was only 50...and in that joined Mark Sandman of Morphine, who was but 46.
Which is hard to believe - he sounds so strong and vital here.
This 2-LP set has been remastered and is just great...RIP, Joe.

It first entered the Billboard #HotMainstreamRockTracks chart in July 1981 and eventually reached #3 on that chart.
