What changed is I ran out of official Pi power supplies (like #CanaKit sells) and I started using whatever I had on hand.
I learned these #microcomputers will do their best, but they really need load regulation at +/- 3%.
Getting back to an official power supply made a huge difference. Issues melted away and everything is stable.

I know there were quite a few examples, and while many (such as the #Samurai https://www.videogamesage.com/forums/topic/4498-the-samurai-nes-indian-version/ ) were clones of more famous platforms whose manufacturers refused to sell in those countries, not all of them were. I'm curious what those were like.

I imagine doing it on Mastodon, with it's larger toot size, would enable more elaborate BASIC programs to be run. 😃
