I’d really like to get my cross-posting from Micro.blog to Mastodon straightened out. I’ve posted a few times now, but I’ve been getting the following error. I don’t have issues authenticating any other app so I suspect it’s not the instance, but open to suggestions from anyone. Thanks!

I’d love to see a write-up or example of someone using omg.lol services and micro.blog in a way to helps me see the distinct use cases. I’m micro.blog curious but at this point with both the increasing possibilities of weblog.lol and social.lol, I’d like to understand the need micro.blog fills for other people using the omg.lol services too.

Is how I do posting too convoluted? Can one join the worlds of RSS and blogs with ActivityPub & microblogging?

So it turns out #MicroDotBlog _retroactively_ imports your feed. See screenshot from my blog of my #ToolsForThoughtRocks account posts imported.

And hashtags link to a hashtag search on the server on which the account is - pretty cool.

@fediverseobserver - You should definitely add #MIcroDotBlog - https://micro.blog/

They offer users direct federation out to the ActivtyPub networks.

"I’ve updated Micro.blog today to help #Mastodon users follow people on Micro.blog. It used to be that if you clicked from Mastodon to a Micro.blog user you just ended up their blog home page. Now it redirects to a special version of the Micro.blog profile screen which includes a follow form. This is very similar to Mastodon’s default remote follow form."
