I’m hoping somewhere down the line to purchase a good keyboard with a vocoder in it.
I have always been attracted to the microKORG because it has nice physical and clicky buttons that you can operate and that is not always the easiest to find.

I was working out how to put two instruments through my looper pedal, using its stereo input had one instrument left the other right. A little mixer in the mix, but that's two mixers to handle. One mixer had a fx send return, but was to loud when recording too soft when playing back. Today I tried the audio thru of my Microkorg and thusfar seems like the most simple sollution!

What I'm doing now is going through the preset banks again, with a notepad next to me so I can describe each existing patch: Number, apparent purpose (bass, keys, lead, organ, etc), mode (mono/poly), a name if I can think of one (has to give further clues as to the nature of the patch), and if I want to keep it or not. This is turning out to be more useful than it would seem, because to determine some of these things, I have to go into the edit matrix.

I don't regret moving from Groningen to Hoogezand, most of the time, but that 15 km of distance has a huge effect on train travel times to other major cities in NL.

Checking out and hopefully picking up a #MicroKorg in Leeuwarden this afternoon and while it's good to be able to try before I buy, I'm not looking forward to the journey itself.

So tutorials where people in outdated glasses struggle to explain what they know and don't show off the instrument effectively is kind of to be expected for this synth. Doesn't make it easier to learn from them but there's a certain charm to it all.
