💡 La carte #MicroSD de mon #RaspBerryPi (qu me sert de #NAS) ayant lâché il y a peu, j'en ai racheté une meilleure (#Sandisk Ultra 32 Go vs #PNY 8 Go avant) et j'en ai profité pour changer ma façon d'administrer le système. Avant, c'était "Raspberry Pi OS Desktop" avec configuration manuelle du partage samba (smb.conf et cie), et désormais, c'est "Raspberry Pi OS Lite" + #OpenMediaVault. Bilan très positif au bout de quelques jours. Je recommande ! 🥰

our last test is always to plug in our 2.8" captouch TFT shield https://www.adafruit.com/product/1947 because it tests both SPI and I2C. this passes and since all the GPIO are accounted for, we just have to wrap up the silk and it's off to fabrication!

As you'd be generally satisfied with USB 3.0 & SATA-6G speeds, that should be feasible and considered a low-effort #NeoFloppy design...

I’m shooting this shot in the dark, but doesn’t anyone else have experience with a #VIOFO A119 V3 munching through #SD cards? My camera has corrupted two, and one of them can’t even be detected by computers anymore. Reddit’s solution if always “bUy A pRO eNdUrAnCe OnE” but both of the cards were Samsung ProEndurance. A 128GB on and 256GB one. Both dead after only a couple of months.

Does anyone have a #lifehack for telling #SecureDigital #SD (actually #MicroSD) #MemoryCards apart, which doesn't come with the obvious risk of a label peeling off inside the card reader?

Seems to me even a full-sized SD card at 32x24 mm doesn't leave much room for indicating what's on it, LET ALONE a microSD card at 15x11 mm.

Yes, I could buy differently colored ones for different purposes, but that has other issues.

At least floppy disks of old had room to write on about what was on them.
