1975 - I read an article in Rolling Stone about #LaMonteYoung. Sounding interesting. Eventually years later, I heard the birthday broadcasts on WKCR.

1980 - I read about the #TerryRiley Shri Camel album in the NY Times. I ran out and bought a copy. I was was hooked.

1994 - I had a credit card, I bought Korg 05/RW with a global tuning table and I could tune 12 notes to the octave.
