About last night. Die topguns band met Sean Dhondt, dat was best nog een leuk 80s feestje. De PA hield de stem van Sean op de achtergrond. Drums (Anthony Van der Wee) was oké en de gitaar van John Miles Jr. was echt goed. #parkies #middelkerke

Another impressive passage through the sandpit gives van der Haar a substantial gap. Sweeck forces Iserbyt to try and close it, and the trio crosses the finish line within 2secs. In lap 4 of the elite men's race at the #Superprestige finals in #Middelkerke, Sweeck and van der Haar are sharing the work in the lead and Iserbyt keeps fighting a few seconds adrift. One thing is for sure after the latest incident in Maldegem when Iserbyt called for a sanction against Sweeck: The latter will make the race hard for his compatriot, no love lost there.
One mistake from Sweeck in the sandpit, and Iserbyt manages to close the gap.

Today a new course is waiting at the Nordzeecross in #Middelkerke. The elite women category starts at 1.40pm CET, the elite men at 3.10pm.
Since these are the finals of the #SuperPrestige series, there still is something at stake. And following Wednesday's #cyclocross races in Maldegem, there is some fresh beef between Laurens Sweeck and Eli Iserbyt.

Finishing in #Middelkerke in 6th place, Toon Aerts secures the win in the overall standings of the #Superprestige. At least Laurens Sweeck was allowed to win the race.
Spain's Felipe Orts with a strong 7th place, Switzerland's Kevin Kuhn in 10th.
Now they've got bloody Pat Lefevere to comment on the race - the guy I refer to as #DonOmerta of professional cycling. A guy who considers media reports on doping a problem but nor doping as such. A guy who epitomizes what's wrong in this sport.

The men's race in #Middelkerke has reached the penultimate lap. Laurens Sweeck is in the lead on his own now after Michael Vanthourenhout had a slight crash.
