Anyone got experience using a midi pad controller in #vcvrack ? i'm looking to buy my first ever pad controller for drumming out beats; I'm leaning towards the Novation Launchpad X, but I can't tell if the hardware is inexorably tied to Ableton Live's feature set or not.

I'd like to eventually use the pad controller for a hardware #modularsynth setup, too. Any suggestions welcome.
