My brother is getting married in #Oslo in a little over three weeks. In absolute disregard of the limits of what I'm capable of I decided to fly to #Rome with my #bike, to see if I can make it up there in time. I want to climb over the #alps. I want to experience #Italy on a #bicycle. #Germany and #Denmark are in the way so I have to do those too. After living in the US for four years I need to re-experience European bicycle infrastructure. #Eurovelo here I come. #bikepacking #midlifecrisis

I can't seem to get an appointment with a dietician despite two referrals, so I've had to figure some things out by myself post DM diagnosis. After a little over a month of tweaking my daily diet, I'm figuring out that if I do overnight oats for breakfast and my fruit/veg smoothie for lunch, I'm pretty much set for the day. The graphic shows the broad strokes of where I sit going into dinner, which is usually a nice big chunk of chicken or fish with a hearty salad. #midlifecrisis #diabetes #food

Spent the last hour staring at a mindmap I made to visualise my past, present and future paths. I had many moments in my life where I was very unsure where I want to go but I don't think I've ever been this clueless about where to go next.

I wonder how people ever "arrive". I don't think I've ever felt that way. Not in my 20s and not now.
