#MidtownAlliance in #Atlanta is gathering public input into revamping the 17th street bridge. This bridge goes over the 75/85 interstate, and was built in the early 2000s. They thought wide sidewalks were enough to make it pedestrian friendly. Notice in this Google view a car driving in the bus-only lane, and a car blocking the crosswalk while waiting to turn right on red. We need the bike lane separated, red paint in the bus lane, shade for pedestrians, and no right turn on red for cars.
