Not only am I fortunate enough to be dealing with a bad IBS flare up, but Mother Nature has decided to bless me with a migraine, too.

Told my boss I'm just going to remain horizontal today and sleep.

Update: 3:30 pm. We got Drew up for exactly an hour. He woke up at 12 pm only because we insisted. House rule: strong PRN med for migraine after waking, but first some breakfast or at least milk/juice because he will already have had 9 meds in him on empty stomach. He really fought today. He ate the breakfast, got the narcotic and immediately to sleep following. Heat-triggered migraines are hellish. It’s 116°.

Today has been a "mild migraine" day. Once I got through the aura this morning, it didn't really impact me much. That is, until I decided my day was done, and started to relax. Pain is building now. I suppose I'll go take some Tylenol. 🤷‍♀️

No, I can't use Excedrin Migraine. Aspirin (one ingredient) is an NSAID, and I cannot take NSAIDs any more. Overuse led to mild kidney disease.

I hate to say this (especially because it may impact my choice to attend events like #Bumbershoot in the future) but it’s looking very much like marijuana smoke might be a #migraine trigger. (Vapes don’t seem to be a problem.)

Scintillating scotoma at the library! A migraine aura while I was shelf-reading. Didn't lead to pain, it hardly ever does (this is common with age). Luckily it's volunteer work, so it didn't matter that I couldn't see the call numbers for a few minutes. The vibrating rainbows are always entertaining out in public lol

Maybe it's just the placebo effect, but I legit feel like I can feel my Ajovy wearing off towards the end of every month. I inject on the 1st of the month (so easy to remember) and it's the best day of the month now. #migraine

Heaping #stress on my #migraine, which is telling my body not to eat. The exact opposite of what I should be doing.

I just have to say that Nurtec ODT is really impressive. I used to take Imitrex for my migraines, but I disliked it, along with other triptans. They make me feel terrible whenever I take them.

Currently, I have a #migraine coming on, and I just took a dose of Nurtec. I had the chance to try it last week. Although I still felt a bit out of sorts and foggy, the pain diminished rapidly, and my sensitivity to sound significantly decreased at the time.

It seems to be working quickly this time. 🎉

Sitting at work, waiting for my class to start. Stinking migraine behind one eye but can’t take the strong stuff til I get home as it makes me sleepy. Not looking forward to the noise of the little munchkins today. And that’s on top of the normal Friday ferals they all seem to acquire heading in to the weekend.

I love my job and I love the kids, but really not feeling it today!

Can I just sit in the corner and draw pictures on balloons?

If that pounding headache is only on one side of the head, I wonder if you're dealing with a #migraine. Interestingly, studies show some relief with a caffeine / acetaminophen combination pill, but not if you just take acetaminophen and drink coffee.
