#MagnumPI s1e9 (1981) - 9/10
Terrific episode. One of the highlights of the first season.

1️⃣ #JuneLockhart and #JoséFerrer are the guest stars, with #AnneLockhart and #MiguelFerrer playing the same characters in flashbacks. That alone makes it one of the most memorable instalments.

2️⃣ Doesn’t feel like a case-of-the-week, feels like you are being told a real story here. And the details are farmed out at different points, so you never really know where it is all going.

Am 1989 erschienen Unterwasser-Sci-Fi-Actioner #DeepStarSix (von Friday The 13th Regisseur Sean S. Cunningham) gefällt mir besonders gut, dass die eigentliche Gefahr nicht das übernatürliche Monster (es taucht bei einer Gesamtspielzeit von 93 Min sogar erst nach 60 Min auf), sondern vielmehr die rostige Infrastruktur der Forschungsstation und ein vom wunderbaren #MiguelFerrer ganz vorzüglich gespielter Volltrottel sind. https://ruhr.social/@Solid_Snail/110134386648538771
