After a while (a month? maybe two? 😇), I've finally managed to make some time to build and 3D print a distancer for my Mi Home door sensor. Finally, my hallway lights are fully automated - when I enter the apartment, both lights turn on, wait a minute or two and turn off. Nice!
Although tailor-made to my specific use case, it _might_ be useful to somebody, at least as an inspiration.
