Na een paar jaar stilte start hij een supergroep met oa #JMascis, #MikeWatt, #ThurstonMoore en #MarkArm genaamd #WyldeRatttz.
Begin jaren 90 speelt hij ook in wat films.
Tot de reünie van #TheStooges leeft hij nog bij zijn moeder, en werd hij al eens een bier drinkende wapengek genoemd.
Op 6 januari 2009 vindt de politie hem in zijn bed, al een paar dagen eerder gestorven aan een hartaanval.

"History Lesson - Part II" - #Minutemen (1984)

A theme song for those of a certain age who still feel some sorta connection to late 70s punk & 80s independent rock. No - this band can't actually be my life. But I did grow up a 1/2 hour drive from San Pedro, and spent my younger days relentlessly pursuing something quite similar to what #MikeWatt wrote so eloquently about here. If not for bands like this, I'd be somebody else entirely.

Op haar 14de ontdekt Kira de bassgitaar, daarop start ze haar eerste band #Wax. Met deze band staat ze op haar 16de in de #WhiskyAGogo.
Na een paar bands start ze met #PatSmear de band #TwistedRoots.
Leden van #BlackFlag zagen haar spelen bij #DC3, en in 1983 komt ze bij de band tot opluchting van #HenryRollins.
Ze blijft bij de band tot ze afstudeert in 1986.
Met haar man, #MikeWatt van #TheMinuteman, start ze het duo #dos tot 1994.

All-female hardcore band opgericht te Osaka in '98.
De band zal veel touren in de USA en Europa, en ze zijn gewoon snoeihard.
Er was wat verloop in de band, en later zullen leden de Jrock band #Jungles oprichten.
De band zal ook gevolgd worden in een docu "Live House" van #MikeWatt over de Jrock en Japanse undergroundscene.
In 2011 gaan ze op tournee met #APerfectCircle.

Still working my way through my #DoubleDeckerRecords haul. Found a copy of the first dos album, released via New Alliance Records in 1986. I love it when I find order forms. An out of print copy of Descendents’ Fat 7” EP cost $3.50. A near mint / very good New Alliance copy is on sale from a seller on Discogs for almost $450.
