This is a really cool discovery: a sun-like star orbiting an invisible black hole about 1600 light-years from our solar system. Not really close, but close enough to be an excellent subject of future scientific studies.

This includes three different galaxies: The Milky Way, Andromeda, and The Triangulum Galaxies.
These three galaxies are nearest to one another. Three great big collections of stars, planets, moons, and other bodies.
But the Moon is just a satellite that orbits the Earth. Since the Earth, the Sun, the Moon, and all the other planets are all inside the Milky Way galaxy.
