The first pre-release for #Minecraft 1.20.2 is here!

This brings more changes to the experimental villager trading rebalance!

Villagers now trade you different pieces of armor, depending on which biome they're from.

Additionally, cartographers now sell maps to many more biomes, to help you find more villages all across your world!

#Minecraft Snapshot 23w33a has been released!

Mob attack ranges have been tweaked to be more consistent – mobs will no longer be able to damage you through walls!

Also, some block sounds have been tweaked, including sponges and repeaters!

Additionally, the player reporting feature now allows players to also report inappropriate skins and user names, in addition to chat messages.

So... #MinecraftWiki is jumping off of #Fandom.

I wish them the best of luck. Fandom (formerly #Wikia) is an awful business that treats your small #Wiki as an #ad #spam farm with a lot of #SEO riding on it. This isn't even an #enshittification case; 13 years ago the western #Telefang community forked off Wikia and it took half a decade for us to consistently rank above their ancient copy of our wiki in search.
