Bevor ich dieses Album hörte, war ich nicht so ein ausgesprochener Fan der Klaviermusik von . Was der isländische Pianist jedoch aus dieser herausholt, ist wirklich bemerkenswert und beglückend. Es ist, als hätte er einen Motor angeworfen, der die ganze Zeit - durch alle Nuancen - für einen wunderbaren Drive sorgt. Die Musik lebt, atmet und swingt. Was ganz Feines!
