I had a pretty good brush that I used for metallics. Two days ago I misplaced it, or so I thought. Turns out my kid was pissed off at me, broke it, and threw it under the sofa.
I had a replacement ready, so no harm done. Gonna glue it back together and put it in among his brushes. #minipaining #dadlife

It's been really awesome to see how much contrast paints have lowered the barrier to entry on mini painting. I know from experience just how frustrating it is to build that skill set and watch mini after mini not come out the way you'd hoped after hours of work. I love seeing the excitement of people using contrast to still be able to produce beautiful results while learning brush skills and other techniques that come with the hobby. #paintingWarhammer #minipaining

Paints used: Army Painter Matt White Primer, with thinned Gravelord Grey SP (which didn't really make it grey at all but darkened the cracks), then drybrushed with Uniform Grey WP and then again with Gun Metal WP, then another coat of thinned Gravelord Grey over the top. Cockpit and ring around the back of the PPC barrel were done in Highlord Blue SP.
