Thieves entered the Pine City Hardware Store sometime Saturday night and helped themselves to about $800 in sporting goods equipment. Discovery of the burglary was made by Ed Edin when he went to the store about 9 a.m. Sunday morning. The back was wide open with the glass taken from the door setting alongside WITHOUT BEING BROKEN.

My husband is from Minnesota and he says #MinnesotaNice is just a form of passive aggressive behavior. But I’m from California where people are actually quite mean and this feels like a completely different culture.

Went to #Minnesota DMV yesterday. No line. Unisex bathrooms. Husband laughed & joked with the person helping us. Cost less to register both cars here than to register one car in California. Whole visit took about 20 minutes.
In California a trip to the DMV takes all day. At the end of the day you feel abused & dehumanized. It’s cold here. But the people are warm & #minnesotanice
