The authors argue that anti-#lgbtq invective isn't restricted to #queer youth. Maybe? But you'd have to ignore all of #MinorityStress theory to believe identity is irrelevant to this particular question. Surely you can appreciate why the straight cisgender person getting called a homophobic slur has a lesser impact than when we heard it in high school and had to wonder if it's going to be followed by violence? Also, there's no mention of controlling for colinearity. #epi #regression

Autistic people are born into a neuronormative world where who we are is treated as a broken object rather than a human being. We need to recognise the need for community-connectedness (Botha, 2020 discusses this in their PhD thesis) and it's importance in reducing minority stress.
