@JessiCum @B_Whitewind I know how LCDs work and I prefer transflective panels where "light mode" makes sense by using the surrounding light [ie. #PixelQi & #Mirasol] but when it comes to readability - regardless if projection on a surface, tansparent HUD or screen, Dark Mode works better and doesn't strain eyes that hard.
I literally have self-tinting glasses due to being susceptible to bright lights, tho that only works with UV radiation and thus not with any montors at all!!!
@ronsboy67 @HepCatJack @LadyOzma @bookstodon @ladymondegreen @evanpeterjones *nodds in agreement* tri- or even heptachromatic #eInk screens are still scarce and unless one optimizes the display routine or the file itself to use only the available colours, dithering occurs...
Not to mention that eInk was never intended for anywhing beyond crisp text. #Mirasol and espechally #PixelQi do images far better...
