@Geri
The #anxiety is difficult to pin down because thats about the only thing that the #sertraline I had previously worked on.
There was no recurrence of any anxiety in the cross-over with the two drugs.
My gut feeling is that a minimum of 4 weeks (probably 6) is needed to get anything like this into the system.
I get visual migraine (aural migraine) only very occasionally - it's impossible to tell if the #mirtazapine is working on that.

I'm wondering now if my short spell of feeling really unwell was #migraine .
I've had visual migraine (no headache) occasionally in the past, and it's left me feeling grim. This was similar, but I don't remember any visual weirdness.
Maybe it wasn't the #mirtazapine ?
@Actionreplay
I've been on #Mirtazapine for just under a month, and have got a review on Monday.
The first week I was sleeping over 15 hours a day.
Now I'm getting weird dreams, but also a dry mouth, general fatigue and - worst - a spinning / vertigo sensation.
I want to stick with it because I'm sure it's lifted my mood and helped with #anxiety .
Everyone is different {thankfully)
The plan for #today is weather dependent.
The Leicester Line of the Grand Union Canal has been closed at Kilby for around a week, and there's now a sunken boat blocking it at #Aylestone.
I'm going to be part of the #CRT #volunteer effort to help waiting boats move beyond Kilby today when the lock repairs are completed - if the rain holds off.
I'm #cycling to my usual #volunteering location which'll be a challenge as the #mirtazapine is still making me dizzy!

I'm mostly horizontal #today.
The #mirtazapine seems to have clobbered me completely.
I've managed to get a few jobs done, but as soon as I stand up or move quickly my head starts spinning.
Bleugh!
After yesterday's travel 'adventure' I slept very well and had trouble getting out of bed this morning!
I had to sit down during #taiChi today as I had a minor #vertigo incident. (Probably #mirtazapine induced I suspect).
Daughter seems to be well, and is talking to us again. Sigh.
Today's #sketch in a toot to follow.

I went into my front room (front parlour?) this morning first thing.
It seemed brighter, cleaner, tidier, more relaxing - I'm thinking that the new #antidepressant medication might be slowly kicking in.
(Despite last night's very, very strange dreams)

The new antidepressant I've been given - #mirtazapine - has been 'interesting'.
I took the first 15mg tablet at 8pm on Wednesday. I then spent 17 of the next 24 hours asleep!
The second dose, last night, doesn't seem, yet, to be having quite such a dramatic effect.
I had some crazy dreams last night, and this morning I feel like I've got flu. That's probably due to the withdrawal from #Sertraline.
Thankfully the #grandchildren are being really good for Mrs Mike

Based on yesterday evening's events with our two children we didn't sleep too well.
Today's the day that I swap over antidepressants - last day of #Sertraline and first evening dose of #mirtazapine.
This could get interesting!
We're collecting a pair of #grandchildren later - they're staying with us for a couple of days.
This could make it even more interesting!!
In cycling terms it's called 'type 2 fun'.

This year I’ve weened myself off the #Mirtazapine and is weight is now plummeting. I was close to 100kg (200lbs to my American friends) would like to get down to around 90ish. #antidepressants #depression #mentalhealth
