For me when I started identifying as #NonBinary but still presenting female enough to always be #misgendered, I found it extremely annoying. It made me realize how often, in public situations, even I assume other people's gender identities by only MY assumptions about complete strangers. Which is rude, narrow minded, and lacking any empathy and basic respect for the other person.

#Montana's House speaker on Thursday refused to allow a #transgender lawmaker to speak about bills on the House floor until she apologizes for saying lawmakers would have "blood on their hands" if they supported a bill to ban #GenderAffirmingCare for transgender youth, the lawmaker said.

My CIS male child was #misgendered at the doctor's office because of his long hair, despite the receptionist having his file pulled up and saying his traditional male name multiple times. I am fine with people being genderfluid, enbee, or trans.

But I could tell my son was uncomfortable with being called a girl, so I stepped in and corrected her as gently as I could. The fog lifted from her tired face, and she was like, OMG.

We all need a break. All of us. A vacation, a nap, some quiet time.

I will not let being #misgendered by the clerk at #REI, even though a coworker gendered me correctly in front of him not five minutes earlier destroy me.

"Their" has always been considered an option when referring to a singular person for whom you do not know their #gender

Having become a more popular #pronoun of late just makes it easier to avoid mis-gendering someone.

We've ALL been #misgendered at one time or another for longer or shorter hair. Not a good feel. I choose to be #considerate. 💜

Just saw a description of #goatsimulator #music sounding like being #misgendered, but not knowing if it's #safe to #correct them. And I mean.... It's not #wrong. 🤷🏻‍♀️

It is super #dysphoria inducing and makes me (at least) feel like there isn't really a point, because if that is how they feel looking like they do after 6 months and 10-20 years younger...

it's a great development that the last couple years I've finally had the confidence in myself as a woman where it doesn't bother me how other people see me, but it also sucks in the sense that I really could have used that earlier on in my #transition when I actually would get #misgendered a ton 😅. then again, I think part of why I've been able to develop this confidence is because I've finally had the space to since I'm not always being questioned so maybe it had to happen this way
