What did I just read??? The US Army is spending $41+ million on Viagra for their personnel. Why?? Today we remember a brutal attack on women just for being women. That attack happened over 30 years ago, but women are still facing violence just because they are women. This is happening all around the world and it’s happening next door. We need to remember #polytechniquemontreal but we need to figure out how to stop doing this. #Misogony

So, #bookstodon, I finished ‘The Once & Future Witches’ by Alix E Harrow & I loved it.
Loved the ideas, loved the characters, loved the way she writes.
This book is an ode to women’s strength & adaptability.
This is one of those books that I will still be thinking of in months time.
Definitely in my top ten for this year.
