The State Emergency Service has published photos of the consequences of the attack on Zaporizhzhia last night.

As of 2pm local time, the search for people under the rubble continues.

4 people were killed last night when a rocket hit a five-story building. Eight more people are injured and five are missing, including a child according to the Prosecutor General.

Vladimir Rogov, Chairman of the "we are together with Russia" movement, a collaborationist group in Zaporizhzhia, has reported a missile strike on the Russian military commandant's office in the temporarily occupied Vasilyevka, Zaporizhzhia Oblast.

Russian sources say there have been at least four strikes on or near the building, where residents were queuing for vehicle passes. There are dead (Signal reports 2) and wounded.

"We are together with Russia" organised the fake referendum in the area in September and control the Russian-led government there. It has links to Putin's All Russia People's Party. Vladimir Rogov is under sanctions by the EU, USA, UK, Switzerland, Australia, New Zealand, Ukraine, Canada and Japan.

Espreso News: As a result of the Russian attack on Kyiv on 31st December, the Alfaveto Hotel near the Palace of Culture of Ukraine and the office of Ukrzaliznytsia was damaged.

According to Kyiv Mayor, Vitali Klitschko, one person, an elderly man, has been killed and seven people have been injured in two explosions in Kyiv. One person is in an extremely serious condition. Later, he added that a journalist from Japan was wounded in the attack on Kyiv in the Pechersk district. He has been taken to hospital.

A rocket hit a house in the Ivano-Frankivsk region but did not explode

"This Morning, in a village in the Ivano-Frankivsk region, almost a thousand kilometres from Russia... The cynicism of Russians knows no bounds," wrote the deputy head of Oblast Kyrylo Tymoshenko, who published the photo.

Russian telegram is claiming this is a Ukrainian S-300 anti-aircraft missile without any mention of why such a thing might be in the sky.
