This is my preferred style of music listening while working on my volunteer projects for #MissionAssist "typing in tongues" scans from the #Bible and #Christian books into text files. DIgitising that which was only available on a printed page.

In my international work for MissionAssist I am typing up pages from a book in another language.
The section I am working on is from John 11 where Jesus raises Lazarus.
The title is: "Lazarus mate".
I was hoping "mate" would translate as something like "friend", but it turns out the translation is "dead".

Wonderful start to my day off work with God's Pantry Food Bank by concentrating on my other job, volunteering with #MissionAssist.
Made a pot of home-ground whole bean coffee, playing #Spacecraft music in my headphones. and "typing in tongues" a chapter of the #Bible in a language I am unable to read. This will enable a people group to have the Bible digitised in their own native tongue. For them this is #Freedom

The #MissionAssist Bible Digitisation Project is mostly working with left-to-right Roman scripts.

We have been requested to digitise Scripture in Hebrew, and several Bibles in a range of Arabic scripts. Currently, we are looking for someone to advise/project manage a new team for Arabic that would work in parallel to our established team for Roman scripts.
