Following a day of festivities in Dolores Park, a joyful procession of at least a thousand trans and queer people and allies marched Friday evening from Dolores Park down Market Street to the intersection of Turk and Taylor in the Tenderloin.

A federal judge on Thursday dismissed a lawsuit against former District Attorney Chesa Boudin that helped spur his recall from office, saying there was insufficient evidence.
Thomas Ostly, a former assistant district attorney fired by Boudin in his first week in office in 2020, filed a lawsuit in 2021 against Boudin and the city, alleging Boudin retaliated and discriminated against him.

Mission Local has learned that Javier Campos appeared to brag about a similar crime online days after the shooting.

Although the Board of Supervisors voted unanimously Tuesday to put a halt to applications for new cannabis retail permits, no one at Thursday evening’s community meeting opposed the opening of a new dispensary at 724 Valencia St between 18th and 19th Streets.
If approved by the Planning Commission, Powerzzzup will welcome its customers this year, becoming the second cannabis dispensary on Valencia Street.
