We're going to sell what you buy. Because we're poor. But, how about you buy our catfish instead (which are delicious) and leave the pellets for someone who will use them responsibly.

#Healthcare in #Mississippi gets more #consolidation, becomes less secular as Singing River is sold to out-of-state "non-profit"; #MississippiToday explicitly saying their size enables them to depress wages. Recent years hospitals in the state have coordinated their employment policies (#antitrust #ftc) to shield themselves from competition in hiring. Expansion of regional #monopoly makes this worse.

During the #bailout of #NYC & #Chrysler in the '70s, some remarked that the risk was not that the bailouts would fail, but that they would succeed. With failure becoming, not just an option, but good strategy–there would be no end to those who sought to be bailed out.
They had a point.
