anyway, finally switching the #misurina to my largest cable length for this set of interchangeable needles. genuinely love the interchangeable needles for larger projects like this sweater -- being able to adjust the length without having to literally have the same needles in three lengths is *chefs kiss* perfection. #knitting

i can *feel* my adhd brain trying to switch our creative fiber work interest to embroidery again, and i'm like, NOOOOOO i *will* finish this sweater!! i'm so close to being done with the colorwork chart, then it's an interesting but easily memorizable lace pattern. Ugh i need to admit that i don't want to pause knitting my #misurina sweater to knit slippers and just look at getting new slippers. My preferred kyrgies are starting to get holes in their darning patches, and my ancient slipons are a) full of holes and b) sweaty.
I bet i could put the kyrgies leather sole on knit slippers if i was clever

Update on my #misurina sweater: color work continues apace! I may need to switch out for a longer cord soon... #knitting

most of the time when I do colorwork, it's fair-isle type -- and I just carry both yarn colors togeather, and pull whichever I need from the twine. but with the #misurina, I have to manage the floats over the cable, and that makes that twining ineffective. alternatively I need to learn a float management technique that's not "twist the yarns against the grain in the back every couple stitches"
