C'est assez complexe ร mettre en place, รงa demande de faire 2 animations (personnage + cutter) et d'assembler dans Lumion. Il faut crรฉer diffรฉrentes animations du Cutter suivant les animations du personnage et les situations. Malheureusement il n'y aura pas de "dรฉmembrements" car trop compliquรฉ voir impossible ร faire.

Rebuilt the normal animation retargeting for #ossos. Got Nabba & @KayLousberg 's Pete doing the catwalk animation from #mixamo. Pete needs some additives down the line tho.
With this done, back to rebuilding the inverse kinematic stuff.

Got the third-person controller in place (although some tweaking is still in order). Also, transitioning between the idle (state) animation and the walking (state) animation seems to be working. Need to still include running and jumping animations. But, all in all, good progress. Godot 4 provides an excellent developer experience. Really enjoying it.

Something I want right now is to take some basic animations from mixamo, target them to a rigify rig in blender, and then be able to append the baked actions from that rig to newly rigged models, both to test the deformations and as a way to jump start the final character animations. What I'm finding is that this process is full of pitfalls. Bone roll issues, mismatching rest poses, quaternion spaghetti. This is the first steep learning curve I've hit in some time. Maybe it would be better advised to just do re targeting individually for each model that needs it? but the best retargeting tool I've come across so far among other things won't set up constraints for the rigify shoulder controls correctly. Maybe its finally my turn to write a blender plugin.

It has been a super-busy time for me last month and I have been procrastinating a little bit enjoying #valheim and #uncharted :)
On the other hand I've been working out a hierarchical builds in #scons similar to #maven in #java world. Did some investigation of how to import and combine #mixamo animations and prepare them for #godotengine.
