Trying not to take it personal that I THINK this person is calling me a "huckster", but this is a common sentiment I get from techies discussing "AR glasses".

We've been over-hyping the potential of augmented reality for over a decade now, and thanks to tech influencers and science fiction films, people seem to think Terminator style optical information systems are right around the corner.

They are NOT right around the corner.

It's a critical teachable moment, as AR has a WAYS to go...

This has been in the works for awhile, but @lobau and I have teamed up on a new project!

I’ve spent most of my career working on XR platforms, and spent 4 years helping build one. it’s been a labor of love, but the dev experience is still very much labor.

The hardware has improved dramatically, but the dev experience remains the same.

We aim to change that.
