For folks headed to (or who want a reason to head to) MLA 2024 in Philly next January, Rita Raley and I are co-directing a seminar on “Reading Generative AI: Theory/Data/Critique.”

Seminars are a new format for the convention. They are 3-hour blocks for structured dialogue and critical exchange, revolving around short working papers submitted in advance. Importantly, you can participate in a seminar even if you’re already maxed out on the standard 2-session limit.
