Routine vaccinations drop among U.S. kindergartners for the third year in a row according to latest CDC data. While vaccinations among kindergarteners remain high — with coverage dropping from about 95% in the 2019-2020 school year to 94% in 2020-2021 to 93% in 2021-2022 — the trend has health officials concerned. This rate means an estimated 250,000 kindergarteners are potentially not protected against measles.
