#Idefix: Putziger Name für Deutsch-französischen Rover zur Erkundung des #Marsmond​s #Phobos.

Der #Rover ist Teil der japanischen Mars-Erkundungsmission „Martian Moons Exploration“ (#MMX) und soll den Mond trotz sehr geringer Schwerkraft (weniger als ein Tausendstel der Erdgravitation) rollend erkunden. Die Lieferung nach Japan ist noch in diesem Sommer geplant.

Er wird von DLR & CNES entwickelt und betrieben und mit der kommenden MMX-Mission der JAXA zum Marsmond #Phobos starten. IDEFIX wird der erste Rover sein, der Phobos erkundet.

Die #MMX-Mission hat zum Ziel, die Ursprünge der Marsmonde zu klären und das Marssystem besser zu verstehen. Dazu soll die japanische Muttersonde zum ersten Mal in der Geschichte der Raumfahrt von Phobos Proben sammeln.

Mais continuons l'intégration de notre #rover #MMX au @CNES à Toulouse. Mi-septembre 2022 désormais.

L'instrument RAX a été intégré. On voit la partie détecteur en haut à gauche, à côté des NavCams, tout enmitouflée de MLI.

L'intégration du SEM (SErvice Module) du rover #MMX continue. Nous sommes fin août 2022.

Le banc stéréo des NavCams (en haut, avec des caches optiques rouges) a été intégré sur la face avant. Ces caméras font de la science en couleur 4Mpixel et nous servent à nous orienter une fois sur #Phobos.

Allez on continue la découverte de l'intégration du rover #MMX

Fin mai 2022, la stack OPR est intégrée sur la structure en alu du SErvice Module (SEM). Le SEM c'est l'intérieur du rover, et ça contient l'essentiel des sous-systèmes du rover.

Le rover est ici couché sur son flanc gauche. La face avant sera à gauche de l'image.

NB: la structure du SEM c'est les petites poutres en alu pas le gros rail qui permet de porter cette structure hein... 😉

Coucou les pachydermes, pour les fêtes du solstice d'hiver (#inclusif) je vous propose une photo de l'intégration du rover #MMX par jour. Depuis mai 2022 jusqu'à maintenant !

Et on commence avec la stack "OPR" pour #OBC (l'ordinateur de bord, les 2 cartes de gauche), #PCDU (la plupart des cartes à droite, ce qui gère la distribution d'élec à bord du rover) et la #RF (bloc central, la communication radio), en une jolie structure typique cubesat.
