I decided to hold off on my #fatbike ride today until it "warmed up" this afternoon. And by "warmed up" I mean I waited for it to get to about 3°F ( -16°C) :)

Still, it was a beautiful day for a 2.5 hour ride on the singletrack fatbike trails in the woods.

It was so nice to get out on the #fatbike trails while there was daylight! Thank you weekend. Although the days are getting longer, it is still too dark after work for a ride without lights.

The trails were as beautiful as I have ever seen them. These photos don't even come close to showing just how nice it was out there today.

With a few inches of new heavy wet snow followed by freezing rain, tonight's #fatbike ride was quite interesting and very slow going for the first lap.

Last bike ride of the year is done and that means it's time to look at the year end stats.

It was a really good year on the mountain bike. I got in more miles this year than any of the past 10 years that I have been tracking with GPS. I'm guessing the new bike helped with that just a bit 🙂

Also, the vast majority of the 169 miles of hiking was either pushing a lawn mower or carrying a leaf blower to work on the bike trails.
