Bought a USB-C PD to DC plug adapter to save some space during travel. The adapter delivers 20V (measured with a cheap multimeter) without load and 19.9V with idling Reform. #mntreform #mnt

Build a simple trackball case for the MNT Reform Optical Trackball with USB-C and used threaded inserts for the first time. What a damn satisfying feeling when inserting the threaded inserts. And no, the solder joints you see are not the original. I messed them up because of my impatience... :(

I just can't stop thinking about the MNT Reform.
That chonkbook is the stuff of my dreams, and I can't figure out why. It's slower than my pinebook pro, but everything about it (other than processor power and battery life, probably, lol) is just amazing. :D

Annoyingly my perfectly functional Asus #chromebook will stop receiving #chromeos updates in June, and due to #Google it's almost impossible to easily convert it to just #Linux . So I'm daydreaming of open source computers and now am fixated on the #MNT #PocketReform ... Might have to find a way to make it through to October.

I have been working on 3D printing a custom lid for the #mnt reform2 for a while now.
Since it is going to be made from plastic, one of the goals is to have the W-LAN antennas in the lid, much like many vommercial laptops have. The theory is that reception will be a lot better.
It took me a while, but now I've finnaly found suitable antennas (cable long enough, right connector). To test the theory, I taped them to the outside of the reform.
Can confirm it works a treat!
