For artists, we can be made to feel that the things that we create "expire" quickly in the torrent of information we are connected to, especially in spaces ruled by algorithms, and I think this exercise can help us break out of the perception we are made to have of our work's "shelf life". Plus its nice to celebrate some of the things a past version of ourselves created, and showcase how we've evolved in our craft.
