The International Mobile Film Festival was a unique memorable and intimate experience with filmmakers celebrating and supporting each other.

Composition always has a backstory. Especially in smartphone photography, because digital zoom is not advisable. You only capture the camera’s perspective chosen by the photographer. You don’t see where the camera was positioned by the photographer. It’s the same with video in cinematography.

As I awoke at 6:30am to start my day, I am preparing to speak via zoom to live in-person event at a library in the UK. Then rushing off to the festival venue across town to meet with a couple sponsors providing gear and assistance next month during our film festival. Then I’m off for two business meetings to come home and continue developing a full programming of films for the festival. And fyi: I love days like this!
