I have a 2013 Android tablet that still works fine. Slow cuz it has a small amount of RAM. It's on Android 5.1.1 & thus limited in the apps it can run. The apps that do don't work well since they're built for newer versions.

I'm frustrated cuz I don't wanna toss it or give it to Goodwill. It still works! I want to use it! Anyone out there have the skills to make this thing useful again?

Also, Gsuite apps have pretty good predictions for the next words or next group of words a user will type next. Gboard doesn't seem to have such an uncanny prediction model. Why not? This poor prediction model (even when tap typing) slows my text input down significantly. 🙄

I #wish #electronics would go into a hibernation mode if they're not used for a few days so that the next time I try to use them, they at least come on and show me they need to be charged, instead of just being dead. #MobileTech

I know some devices have a mode like this, but not my phones and tablets.

Ugh, it's one of my big #MobileTech regrets that I sold my #Sony Clié UX50. I think I sold it so I could get a different PDA, possibly the TapWave Zodiac? I like the Zodiac, too, but I should've held on to my UX50. Every so often I check eBay to see if there's one in good condition I could buy to add back to my collection. 🙁
