The book #MobyDick was, at the time, #RealisticFiction about the ongoing counter-attacks that #SpermWhales were doing against anything that looked like a #whaling ship, and the ongoing efforts of the whaling ships to fight them, effectively a war between whales and #whalers.
It's not fiction, it's the result of #specieism.

There is an satirical aspect to extending racial theories and colorism to tar-coated plant fibers, fond though he clearly is of the whale-line.

Barker) hingegen, die es hierzulande anscheinend auch nur in einer verstĂŒmmelten DVD-Fassung zu sehen gibt (121 statt 184 Min.), ist eine einzige EnttĂ€uschung. William Hurt bekommt Ahab nicht ĂŒberzeugend hin, seine Dialoge wirken schwerfĂ€llig & beliebig. Die anderen Rollen sind noch schlimmer besetzt: zu jung, zu glatt, zu kraftlos (E. Hawke, C. Cox, E. Marsan, B. Boyd). Dazu wirken Theologie & Ausstattung aufgesetzt. Schade.
